Daksta is working in partnership with a globally recognised engineering company who are looking for a Senior Architect to work in their Singapore office.
• Senior Architect to serve as discipline group lead and as Project/Lead Architect for large, green-field design projects. Lead the space planning and design of the Data Halls, M&E Plant Areas and Building Support Areas.
• Develop design from site masterplanning, conceptual stage to detailed design development.
• Advise on local authority requirements and the submission process in Singapore.
• Evaluate, select and apply standard architectural techniques, procedure and criteria independently using judgment in making minor adaptations and modifications
• Manage and mentor a team of Architects through the design stages of a project. Working with a remote resource team would be an advantage.
• Participate in the QA/QC process in checking Architectural design work.
• Coordinate with other design disciplines such as Electrical, Structural, Civil, Mechanical, Instrumentation & Controls related with Architectural design work.
• Represent the Company at technical meetings and lead discussions on Architectural design with Clients, Consultants and Contractors. 
• Prepare tender documents, evaluate, recommend and support the tender award.
• Review and comment on Contractor RFIs, material submissions, shop drawings and support project & construction management teams.
• Bachelors Degree in Architecture.
• Membership of a professional body (AIA /ASIA / RIBA or equivalent).
• Certified Green Mark Manager,  BCA 
• Degree in Architecture with minimum 7 years total working experience preferably with at least 2 years experience working on electronics and advanced technology projects: Data Centre and Mission Critical project experience is preferred. 
• Able to present to Clients and lead internal project teams through programming, conceptual design, design development, detail design, and construction administration
• Deep understanding of Singapore Code of Practice, codes, standards, and submissions process, demonstrate leadership experiences working with clients, local authorities, and project staff.
• Demonstrate good communication skills and understanding of cross-discipline needs for continuous coordination with other architects and engineers, lead engineers, project management, commercial and procurement on multidiscipline design and construction projects.
• Able to coordinate with clients, sub-consultants, consultations with public agencies and preparation of construction documents for submission to public agencies.
• Revit and AutoCAD experience.
• Sound knowledge of key Health and Safety issues and legislation.
• Ability to prioritise own workload and work to deadlines.
