Daksta is working in partnership with a globally recognised engineering company who are looking for a Discipline Lead Electrical Engineer to work in their Singapore office.
• Serve as Electrical design discipline lead for the preparation of the design of HV/LV power systems, lighting and fire alarm systems for data center projects. 
• Designing large projects, preparing technical reports and specifications and undertaking technical investigation studies (i.e. discrimination studies, arc flash hazard analyses, site selection and due diligence exercises).
• Manage and mentor a team of electrical engineers through the design stages of a project. Working with a remote resource team would be an advantage.
• Participate in the QA/QC process in checking electrical design work.
• Coordinate with other design disciplines such as Architectural, Structural, Civil, Mechanical, Instrumentation & Controls related with Electrical work.
• Represent the Company at technical meetings and lead discussions on electrical engineering with Clients, Consultants and Contractors. 
• Prepare tender documents, evaluate, recommend and support the tender award.
• Review and comment on Contractor RFIs, material submissions, shop drawings and support project & construction management teams.
• BEng or BSc in Electrical Engineering, Electronics or Building Services Engineering
• Chartered Engineer / Professional Engineer
•Membership of a professional body (CIBSE / IET or equivalent)
• Uptime Institute ATD would be advantageous.
• 7 years’ experience working in a design consultancy environmental. Data Centre experience is essential. 
• Familiar with local Singapore, Malaysia Codes and Regulations.
• Knowledge of SKM, E-Tap or Amtech software packages.
• Revit and AutoCAD experience.
• Sound knowledge of key Health and Safety issues and legislation.
• Ability to prioritise own workload and work to deadlines.
• Experience with the technical requirements of Uptime, TIA and BICSI guidelines.
