Description
Daksta is working in partnership with a globally renowned engineering company who are looking for a Cost Engineer for their Dublin office.
 
This role is available for both permanent and contract staff.
 
Responsibilities
 
- Support/facility to gain chartered status available in-house
- Financial management of all aspects of the project;
- Management of project costs and changes;
- Management and administration of construction contract and various subcontracts;
- Measurement and agreement of Bill of Quantities for scope;
- Preparation of monthly SOVs (Progress Claims);
- Monitoring project cash flow;
- Submit and agree estimates for variations to scope;
- Monitor progress / delays and pursue entitlement;
- Track and report on planned v actual costs;
- Produce monthly data for margin reviews;
- Agree and close out accounts in a timely manner
 
Requirements
 
- Relevant third level qualification – Construction Economics/ Quantity Surveying essential
- Minimum 3+ years’ experience post qualification required
- Experience in M&E or CSA cost engineering required
- Fluent English essential
