Description
Daksta is working in partnership with  a leading bio-pharmaceutical client who are look for a Mechanical Project Engineer to work in there Dublin office
 
Responsibilities 
 
Onsite co-ordination between Mechanical and other Disciplines.
Resolving engineering queries in the field
Set out of Process Equipment
Managing specific construction areas
Weekly Progress reporting
Weekly Variation reporting
Onsite co-ordination between Consultant and Contractor.
Production of punchlists and clearing of Client / Consultant generated punchlists.
P & ID and vendor drawing check on plant and equipment.
Preparing hand-over dossiers for Client and Validation.
Co-ordination of project activity in conjunction with the offsite fabrication team.
Attend weekly progress meetings
 
Requirements 
 
Ideally the candidates will be Degree / Diploma qualified in Mechanical Engineering or Mechanical Drawing. 
Previous work experience in Engineering and/or Construction is required.
Appropriate accredited qualifications.
Minimum of 5 years' experience in a similar role
Experience with BIM is preferable(Navis works 3D model)
Knowledge of Primavera P6 is also very desirable.
Knowledge of Piping isometrics and P&IDs are essential
