- Daksta are working in partnership with a Client who is looking for a new enthusiastic, driven and dynamic Design Manager based in London. This is a client facing role and demonstrable skills in maintaining and developing both internal and external relationships are required.
Responsibilities- Overall management administration of our Client's multi-disciplinary projects and assist in establishing project specific objectives and policies
- Support the delivery of projects in accordance with the expectations of the project delivery process from a project management, financial management, QA/QC and technical review perspective
- Actively participate in new growth initiatives internal and external and to contribute to the development of internal systems and procedures.
- Review and forecast project financial performance. Identify and mitigate forecast fee challenges
- Lead, mentor and develop the team to achieve project and business goals
- The Design Manager will be expected to convey a positive attitude whilst maintaining the highest standards in undertaking their work, acting with integrity and professionalism at all times
Experience- 10+ years’ experience at senior engineer level or above
- Experience in project management and MEP engineering track record with some experience of data centres or other critical engineering facilities
- BEng in appropriate engineering discipline and Chartered Engineer status desirable
- MCIBSE/MIEE/IMechE Professional Membership preferable
- Sound understanding of template design with localisation requirements
- Proven experience in managing a multi-disciplinary team with the successful delivery of the design for critical projects
