- Daksta is currently working with a Contractor that requires two QA/QC Officers for a large scale project in Germany on a 3/1 rotation. This Contractor is dedicated to being the leading and most cost-efficient provider of electrical engineering, design and commissioning services across Ireland, UK, Europe and the Middle East. They also invest in training and education ensuring that the highest standards of health, safety are followed throughout the organisation.
Must be living in Ireland or Europe/Irish Resident or with an Irish Passport/or European due to COVID Restrictions/Permits this is due to Brexit/Or the right to work in the EU
Responsibilities:
- Prepare handover inspection and test documentation and operation & maintenance manuals
- Coordinate commissioning of electrical systems with teams and other stakeholders
- Full review of inspection and test documentation
- Review and issue final handover packages to the client
- Ensure compliance to regulatory standards throughout the installation and inspection of the project
- Perform quality inspections of the installations and control the close out of defects
- Oversee that testing is correctly executed on the project
- Liaise with the construction management team and client on installation and quality matters
- Attend quality meetings
- Input into weekly progress reporting on quality items
- Excellent attention to detail and organisational / planning skills
- Ability to self-manage, prioritise and work to tight deadlines
- Ability to communicate effectively with colleagues and clients
- Be proactive and committed
- Conscientious and responsible
- Ability to support, manage, lead and enthuse others
