How would you like to become a member of the senior leadership team responsible for the delivery of a €20 billion high-tech construction project? The largest facility of its type in Europe!

You will be a part of the global leading engineering consultancy who have a long history of delivering similar project across the world, who will support you in your position for the successful delivery of the project!

What you will be challenged with:
  • Co-ordination of all direct activities of the Engineering team.
  • To ensure that safety is instilled in the entire Engineering project personnel through personal safety and safe design through constructability reviews, risk assessments and work plans.
  • Actively participates in all project design work groups so that all scope and revised scope is included in the design documents and the released work packages.
  • Assign an Engineering owner to each system for construction, start up, commissioning and handover
  • Play an active part in the quality management review process
  • Contribute to design and developments of projects on site and identify problems and evaluate solutions, taking costs, benefits, safety, quality, reliability, and environmental impact into account
  • Ensure all design specifications are based on continuous improvement, identifying opportunities to eliminate problems
  • To ensure that all relevant design specifications reflect current regulatory standards.
  • To ensure that all new projects / equipment is correctly installed, commissioned and operational to operational requirements
  • Direct, review, and approve product design and changes
  • Coordinate and direct projects, making detailed plans to accomplish goals

What you need to bring to the table:
  • Engineering Degree with 25+ years’ experience in Semi-Conductor, Biotechnology/Pharmaceutical Technology
  • Key levels of experience in Design (from concepts through to detailed design and field co-ordination).
  • Experience includes scope development and validation, Start Up and Commissioning and systems qualification (including Utilities).
  • Design and Construction Risk assessment experience.
  • Experience of managing teams of engineers and technician
