We are seeking a ''Learning & Development Consultant" who will lead our Learning & Development efforts as we scale the business and achieve our mission in becoming the go to recruitment partner for engineering talent across our key mission critical markets.
 
Main purpose of job:
 
The role of the L&D Performance Consultant is to support with the onboarding and inductions for new recruitment Consultants into the business alongside the Talent Acquisition, Operations and HR teams. You will run multiple graduate academies each year with the objective of taking inexperienced hires and supporting and guiding them into realising their potential and becoming a competent and high performing recruitment consultant, with milestones to achieve to achieve in their first three months. You will design, implement and execute training programmes for trainee recruitment consultants, as well as experienced recruitment consultants and finally leadership and management training.
 
Key Responsibilities
 

  • Be involved throughout the interview process to identify key talent with Talent Acquisition and Sales teams
  • Design, implement and execute training programme for new starters
  • Manage and deliver graduate academy’s
  • Own desk side coaching including call listening and activity management
  • Manage systems training and implementation across the graduate hires
  • Deliver and Evaluate the effectiveness of the trainee programmes
  • Implement Daksta Sales best practice and vertical market building
  • Build effective relationships with key stakeholders to identify short & medium term training needs within their teams
  • Ensure all training activity is tracked and logged as required.
 
Additional Requirements
 

  • Understand the full recruitment lifecycle and stay current in changes to the client and candidate methodologies
  • Understand how to build a vertical market
  • Conduct 1:1 training using a variety of training & coaching techniques
  • Design training courses that appeal to a range of learning styles
  • Not only train, but mentor and coach new starters through their first 3 months within the business, and build a foundation to be a consistently successful recruitment consultant
  • Develop employees skills and performance in line with the Daksta career path
  • Input into the monthly training calendars to ensure they are produced in a timely manner, visible within the business and kept up to date
  • Keep up to date with and utilise the latest thinking on training practice and methods
  • Support wider L&D projects when required
  • Ensure your continued professional development
  • Be agile to change within business, L&D, Talent and the company
  • Map out training plans & coaching needs for the wider business
  • Assess the impact of training in relation to employee performance
  • Gather feedback from trainees and other members of the business in a structured way
  • Design, implement and execute refresher training programmes for experienced recruitment consultants and implement quarterly reviews to analyse and identify gaps in skillset
  • Design, implement and execute leadership and management training programmes
  • Design, implement and execute training programmes for wider business across, Talent Acquisition, Operations and Finance.
