How would you like to become a member of the senior leadership team responsible for the delivery of a €20 billion high-tech construction project? The largest facility of its type in Europe!
You will be a part of the global leading engineering consultancy who have a long history of delivering similar project across the world, who will support you in your position for the successful delivery of the project!
Your Mission:
As a member of the Board of Directors, reporting directly to the Chief Executive, the post holder will be responsible with Board colleagues for the strategic leadership, direction and development.
What you will be challenged with:
- The Commercial Director will be responsible for identifying new commercial opportunities and driving growth across the business activities
- Identify new market opportunities, taking the lead on constructing robust and successful business proposals that secure new contracts and long term client relationships
- Contribute to the development, communication and promotion of corporate core purpose, vision, mission and values
- Contribute to the development of a culture of continuous improvement in order to meet financial and performance targets
- Deputise for the Chief Executive and as appropriate
- To undertake specific tasks as asked from time to time by the Chief Executive
- To ensure areas of responsibility are delivered in a way that are consistent with the financial plans and cost improvement plans
- Assist in the negotiation of contracts
- Assess the quotations submitted and selecting the bidders with which the commercial/financial negotiations may be conducted
- Conduct the financial and contract negotiations at the appropriate management level
- Manages the competitive bidding and selection process
- Negotiate contract terms, pricing and payment schedule, ensuring that the agreements with the vendors / suppliers are commercially advantageous
What you need to bring to the table:
- Graduate with 25+ years of experience in Semi-Conductor / High Technology and Electronics Industry’s with large “blue chip” corporations
- Key experience has been Global and Multi National team Leadership
- Be able to demonstrate that you worked in a similar capacity on successful projects of a similar size and complexity
- The candidate if selected should be able to provide up to date references in support of his CV and other achievements
