A venture between Renault and Geely is going to take place in the UK. The venture is going to employ over 19,000 staff and they are going to develop and then manufacture diesel, petrol and more. They are going to have a total of 17 engine plants along with a number of hybrid powertrains. They are going to do this with the idea of trying to secure the continuity of the business. They have two operative countries, and they are also doing a lot of work in Madrid. At the end of the day, they have worked endlessly to make this happen and they have also come out with a statement saying that they are going to try and put the work in to ensure that this is a success across three different continents. Right now, they have a team in the US, as well as the UK. Luca De Meo has come out to say that right now, they are facing a ton of automotive challenges and that nobody else can claim to be able to handle every problem on their own. When you look at the breakthrough innovations that have happened, you will soon see that it is more than possible for you to decarbonise transport as well as paving the path for the future. This is all great to say the least and it just goes to show how much work is being put in to making sure that as much done as possible to help the sector to really take off. KGHM Polska Meidz SA have made the decision to construct a power plant which is going to be based on the NuScale Power modular reactor. KGHM have logged their application and they did this on the same day that PEJ went ahead to apply for their decision-in-principle. They did this on the construction of the first large-scale power plant. Of course, later in the month, they also applied for a decision-in-principle for the construction of the GE Hitachi power plant. This is for the BWRX-300 which is going to be present at over six locations. KGHM have come out to say that they are going to be as prepared as possible and that they are preparing everything based on the project documentation that they have received. The decision-in-principle has been issued now and they have said that they are working with selected conditions while enabling the general construction of the VOYGR modular power plant.

The decision represents the official state for the investment, and they have also acted in accordance with the permits and investments which are going to take place at a number of facilities. They are doing this for anything that an investor may want to apply for. Obtaining this entitles the KGHM to apply for any number of arrangements and this could include a decision for a construction license. The goal, at the end of the day, is to ensure that energy is price stable as this is going to allow them to maintain their advantage on a global scale. Who knows what is going to happen next, but one thing is for sure, and that's the fact that more has to be done to make sure that people are getting the help that they need to bring this project to life.

Large-scale solar has grown quite rapidly over the years. It accounts for around half of electric-generating capacities but the information about the negative or positive impact is leading to the opposition taking more steps to find out more. The general gap in information limits how developers, municipalities and even local sitting authorities address community concerns. It also dictates how they aligned proposed projects in regard to how they best suit and finally, benefit local communities,

Berkeley Lab have tried to fill this gap. They are doing a lot of research to try and focus on the impact that they are having on the community and the general perceptions that are present. These cases included 54-semi-structured interviews across 7 states, and they also represent a diverse range of geographies. You have numerous jurisdiction types, and you also have local residents who all live very close to the LSS sites. Berkley Lab have tried time and time again to contact stakeholders and they have also worked on a number of diverse projects that involve utility representatives, developers and landowners. They work with a lot of community-based organisations with the overarching aim to be to try and encourage people to take par.t. When you look at the perceived impact of all of this, you will soon see that it has a lot of support and that the impact is low in terms of the tax revenue that could be generated. Who knows what the future holds, but right now, more has to be done to try and make sure that more is done to give support to those who need it. Tax incentives are great but at the end of the day, there is no telling what the future is going to hold for the sector.
