Google are doing what they can to try and combat the energy crisis that is happening right now. They are also trying to integrate a carbon-free energy policy too. If you look at the energy crisis right now you will soon see that more and more companies are putting a focus on renewables. Google are trying to pursue CFE, 24/7 and this means that they want to meet their energy consumption needs by using carbon-free resources. C40 Cities have chosen to partner with Google so they can try and launch their campaign. The program is a first of its kind for Google but it looks like they are going to try and support cities from all across the world to speed up decarbonisation while also ensuring that regional energy grids are able to benefit residents
Of course, C40's carbon-free energy program is going to develop and then implement a lot of different strategies along with practices and tools to aid people in achieving their goals. Pilot cities happen to include Copenhagen as well as Paris. You also have London, which was a strong part of the movement. Google are going to give every partner city their expertise as well as their experience. They are going to try and pursue the goals that they have in mind and they are also going to work to a lot of market reforms as well. Every city is going to be participating in this and they are also going to be addressing some of the key changes that they want to try and make as well. This is a very positive movement and it looks like only good things are going to come as a result of this. Be sure to keep up with the latest news if you want to find out more.
