A New Volunteer Opportunity at CIPD is Helping SMEs to get Going Again

The CIPD have partnered up with the Enterprise Nation to try and support the BEIS organisation. The CIPD are absolutely delighted to say that they have partnered up with BEIS to try and launch a Recovery Advice for Business initiative. This is a brand-new support platform which is designed to try and give professionals access to support, including business growth advice, HR and even marketing. So many SMEs are now facing a very uncertain future after the devastating coronavirus wave. Government schemes such as the Job Retention Scheme and even the Bounce Back Loans have really given them the financial support they need, but that being said, so many people are struggling to navigate the process of people-related issues.

Recovery Advice for Business Scheme

Through the Recovery Advice for Business Scheme, it looks like CIPD members can easily ensure that SMEs are able to get the advice they need to plan and re-orientate their business. The CIPD are calling on so many members who work with independent consultants and they are trying to give any SME one hour of advice, for free, every month until the start of next year. This is going to be done through the Enterprise Nation, which is a specified online platform which so many SMEs use right now. If you work in the industry of labour recruitment or if you are currently seeking labour jobs, then you will understand what a fantastic resource this is.
All in all, movements like this are certainly going to benefit those who need it the most and it is also going to help small businesses get on their feet again. Only time will tell what is going to happen next but right now, things are looking positive.
