Plug Power’s stock has halved a they came out to say that they have cast a lot of doubt over their ability to survive over the next year. In the filing, it seems that Plug Power are going to be using existing cash but it is not enough for them to fund their operations. They have great concerns over the next 12 months and it’s not surprising to see why. Plug Power have said time and time again that they want to alleviate the liquidity pressure and that this includes lack of securities or the incurrance of debt. It also covers other financing alternatives too. The company have come out to say that they are doing everything they can to try and bolster their earnings and that it has been a difficult quarter for them. With that in mind, more has to be done to try and make sure that plant outages do not become an issue going forward. Of course, with fuel or without it, there is going to be a limited supply for the coming months. Andy Marsh has said on a few recent episodes that they are going to be discussing green hydrogen as well as the inflation reduction act. Plug Power are one of the seven hydrogen hub projects and they have done nothing but grow ever since. They have put a lot of work into making sure that they achieve their goals and it is remarkable to see how far they have come. With that in mind they need to step up their game and make sure that they do not succumb to the same issues that have claimed so many other companies this year.
