Port of Tyne have Signed the Dogger Farm Development Plan

Port of Tyne have signed an agreement with the Dogger Bank Wind Farm. This concludes the phase for the development so that the operation. This is going to be the biggest offshore windfarm in the world. The Dogger Bank Wind Farm is going to be a dual venture for SSE Renewables and of course, Equinor. The project is of course, going to be split into three phases and it looks like there is going to be a 20% stake as well. This is going to be in the first two phases and the transactions are going to be complete in 2021. Equinor are going to be the ones who are going to operate the windfarm and this is going to be the case for up to 35 years. They are going to construct the O&M base as well. Of course, well over 200 people are going to be placed there and this is going to ensure that the turbines are all operating as they should be. They are going to be generating electricity for over 6 million homes in the UK.
